About Me:

I am an award winning writer and director from Dingle, Co. Kerry. My career began in 2009 when my father bought me a Toshiba handi-cam for Christmas (it was on sale).

Since then, my work has premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh, Newport Beach Film Festival, Cambridge Film Festival and DOC NYC. I have won awards from Creative Ireland, Silk Road Film Festival, Indie Cork Film Festival, Kerry Film Festival and many more. Most recently, I was the inaugural winner of the 2026 Deascéal Short Film Scheme and Comortás Físin. My work has been covered by major news outlets such as The Irish Examiner, Irish Central and The Daily Star.

Alongside narrative projects, I have directed commercial work for Johnstone Mooney and O’Brien, Culture Ireland, Laois County Council and Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands. My work is grounded in believable performances, nuanced comedy and visually rich filmmaking. I love crafting compelling characters and capturing both the pain and the glory of the human experience.
